When I got there, the girls were already having gyoza and asupara bacon for appetizers. We all wanted to order the whole menu, so it took a while for us to order.
Yey SASHIMI! I’ve said it a hundred times: salmon sashimi is my favorite dish ever, so this is a no-brainer order for me. That particular sashimi was super fresh and almost melt-in-your-mouth. I don’t think I’ve had sashimi that like that ever.
Mica took forever to decide what to order. She ended up ordering the Curry Nasu Hotpot. It’s curry with eggplant wedges and ground pork. It was pretty yummy, too, but my mind was still on the sashimi.
I’ve always been curious what Philly Cheese Steak Roll tasted like, but I never got around to ordering it. Ria ordered this one, and MAN it was good! Although I don’t think I’ll order it frequently—I prefer traditional sushi maki, really—but I’ll definitely eat some if someone orders it.
Of course, there must be Teriyaki Boy Chicken. That’s their specialty, after all.
After dinner, it’s off to Krispy Kreme, apparently Mica’s second office. Everyone there already knew her, and she had her regular seat. Haha! Yey Ma’am Mica!
Ria had to leave after a while, but we decided to stay a bit. We didn’t have a photo together yet, so we took this:
Ahahaha! Peace, Cai 😀
It’s always fun to just hang around with bloggers even though there isn’t a blogging event. And it’s also fun to just…blog. Even though there isn’t a blogging event, and there aren’t any sponsors or whatever. I’ve missed blogging like this. I should do this more often.
And on that note, I say: we should do this more often, girls! 😀
